We recently received a used Toshiba with Windows 10 but have an error message that Windows is not activated. From what I can tell (but not absolutely sure), 10 has been added but the activation code does not work for whatever reason. I haven't found much on this code and could really use some help with what I can do to remedy this. Thanks!

Hi my pc is currently unusable whenever i try to startup, the mouse and keyboard both turn on for a second then turn off at the same time. They both have lights so i see when it happens.
Also I tried finding a solution and none are helpful when i cant type or click anything because they turn off. it lets me boot into safe mode or something when i hold F4 but it goes back to regular startup when the keyboard turns off.

Hi, I've seen that there was a conversation on here nearly 4 years ago about consolidating accounts or changing the accounts into a single account. The answer was at that time that it couldn't be done. Can you tell me whether you've managed to sort out this problem and if so, how do I consolidate my accounts so that I only have 1 microsoft account (if that's what I choose) which can be used across all of my devices and apps...

Hello,
I recently added a bunch of notes to a PowerPoint slideshow, then I saved it as a PDF file in order to print the notes. Now, I can't find the notes anywhere, nor can I open the PDF as a PowerPoint again.
Can somebody please offer some advice? There must be a way to retrieve my notes.

Windows 10 is the safest operating system bla bla bla bla…..

1. Windows Defender DOES NOT remove adware and malicious extensions from your browser. I noticed that today, when I booted my pc and Microsoft edge opened and redirected me to a malicious web URL (I recognized it, not windows defender, I closed the tab immidiately). Last night when I turned off my computer it went into update mode to install 3 updates before shutting down.
This morning when I turned on my computer it would not boot to the desktop but froze at the windows 7 Logo. I hit the reset button and it booted to the selection menu for being unable to start windows. I selected the "repair problem" mode. I recently updated to Windows 10 version 1903 and now have a minor but unwelcome problem with the calendar. When setting an event you get five choices in the Show As menu. No matter which one you choose, you only get a dashed line on the calendar instead of the colored blocks. I initially got this laptop in 2016 and it came with Windows 10 Home. I upgraded to Pro for $99. Years later, just yesterday, I took a screenshot of what turned out to be my PRODUCT ID thinking it was the key, and did a fresh install. This was because of suspected malware that wasn't being captured by windows defender. I only updated personal files, nothing else.

Hi,
Tom's Hardware App shows a message at launch. It reads " Sorry, you must be connected to the internet to use this application". I am using this app from the days of Windows 8 and 8.1 and never faced any issue except slight display issues. It worked perfectly even on early versions of Windows 10. When ever i start to install visual c++ from microsoft i get an popup asking me to temp to locate the installer but nothing is there so i say ok at default location brings it back up say cancel and it said failure to install.
