On checking PC i7 running WIN 7 , has 3 x 6gb (3 x 2gb) ddr3 triple channel memory BUT system says installed memory is only 8gb. In Task Manager-Resource Monitor 9gb is shown as Hardware Reserved, also says installed is 8GB. The memory has been fine as installed some time ago, but recently the PC seemed sluggish so was being checked out.
How to release 9GB, what might be reserving this? Have tried swapping one RAM at a time in PC and each time just 2GB shows as installed when each 6gb...
