WINDOWS UPDATES

My Windows Vista Home Premium used to automatically receive successfull security updates.Since 21.8.16 they show failed.I have tried to CHECK FOR UPDATES but having waited for 30 mins I get no response.

Please advise me on how to solve this problem.
